I'm super stoked to announce that the production I shot over the summer is airing on Saturday 23rd October on Channel 4 TV here in the UK at 7PM.
This was a whirlwind of a production - from pre-production thru post in around 11 weeks - from finding the story and filming the interviewees to archive to edit and graphics - this was a big undertaking and at times pretty overwhelming in hitting the deadlines - a lot different to the five year Rom Boys production.
Working with the amazing production team at Big Little Fish TV, Steve, Mark, Georgina and Tom as well as some great interviewees including TV presenter Arthur Williams and historians James Holland and Alexandra Churchill, I think we pulled off a different approach to the Lancaster bomber story which was always the aim.
Shot entirely on the FX9 and A7SIII I also shot some headshots for C4 PR using the A7SIII and was really impressed by what a fantastic image this camera gives.
Interview lenses -Sigma Art 24-70 on FX9 and Sigma 85mm Art on A7SIII.
